Cookies & Tracking

Last updated 8 September 2026

Short version: CommunityPilot sets what it needs to keep you signed in, and nothing else. There is no advertising network, no analytics product, and no third-party tracker on this site.

What we set

NamePurposeLife
sb-*-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in. Set by Supabase authentication.Session / refresh window
cp_demo_personaRemembers whether you entered the demo as a developer or a board. Only ever set on the shared demo account.Session

Both are strictly necessary: without the first you cannot stay signed in.

Browser storage, which is not a cookie but is worth naming

A few conveniences are kept in your browser's own storage and are never sent to us: whether you chose the Basic or Advanced dashboard, which information banners you have dismissed, an unfinished signup draft, and how far through a guided tour you were. Clearing site data resets them and breaks nothing.

What we do not do

  • No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social trackers.
  • No cross-site tracking and no profiling.
  • No selling or sharing of personal information for advertising.

This is why you are not seeing a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to beyond the cookies that make signing in work. If that ever changes, a banner will appear before the change does — not after.

Error reporting

We use Sentry to learn about crashes. It records what went wrong and where, and secrets are stripped before anything is sent. It is not used to follow you around.
